Esta única forma geométrica está cubierta con acrílicos espejados, donde la luz rebota dentro y alrededor en sincronía con los sonidos provenientes de la estructura. El paisaje del desierto se refleja en los paneles exteriores creando una imagen de un universo inifinito.
"Still Alive" cobra vida a medida que te mueves a través de su ambiente interactivo. Vea los reflejos del desierto y el movimiento de las luces a medida que cambian de color con el cambio de sonidos. Toque los paneles reflejados y sea testigo de los cambios en las imágenes reflejadas. La luz que entra a través de los diversos tragaluces y la interacción con los demás crea un ambiente dinámico único para cada persona.

This unique geometric form is covered with acrylic mirrors that light bounces off of and around in synchrony with sounds coming from within the structure. The landscape of the desert is reflected on the exterior panels creating an image of an inifinite universe.
"Still Alive" comes alive as you move through it´s interactive atmosphere. See the reflections of the desert and the movement of the lights as they change colors with the change in sounds. Touch the mirrored panels and witness the changes in the reflected images. Light coming in through the various skylights and interaction with others creates a dynamic ambience unique to each person.
This is a unique art piece, which comes from the diversity and traditions that are part of Chile. The southernmost country in the world, it is progressing in today´s world. It´s trustworthy people believe in making dreams come true to make the world a better place for all. This project will travel more than 6,000 miles to the beautiful event of BURNING MAN 2019.
"Still Alive" is an elongated heptagonal installation, constructed from a modular wooden frame covered with mirrored sheets. It represents the metamorphosis of life from the beginning to the end. It reflects its surroundings, continually changing as the environment around it morphs.
Enter one of the two portals. Inside you will be surrounded by skylights letting in the light. The light shining on the different surfaces forms various patterns that change with the passing of the sun overhead. In addition, there is a lighting system that gradually changes color in sync with the numerous sounds projected.
As you move through the wormhole and interact with other burner citizens a myriad universe is generate influenced by the changing reflections from the movements of all within its walls. A kaleidoscopic environment is formed as light and images bounce around inside.
Esta es una pieza de arte única, que proviene de la diversidad y las tradiciones que forman parte de Chile. El país más austral del mundo, que está progresando en el mundo de hoy. La gente Chilena cree en hacer realidad los sueños para hacer del mundo un lugar mejor para todos. Este proyecto viajará más de 6,000 millas al hermoso evento de BURNING MAN 2019.
"Still Alive" es una instalación heptagonal alargada, construida a partir de un marco de madera modular cubierto con láminas espejadas. Representa la metamorfosis de la vida desde el principio hasta el final. Refleja su entorno, cambiando continuamente a medida que el entorno a su alrededor se transforma.
Entra en uno de los dos portales. En el interior estarás rodeado de tragaluces que dejan pasar la luz. La luz que brilla en las diferentes superficies forma varios patrones que cambian con el paso del sol por encima. Además, hay un sistema de iluminación que cambia gradualmente de color en sincronización con los numerosos sonidos proyectados.
A medida que te mueves a través del agujero de gusano e interactúas con otros ciudadanos, se genera un universo cambiante, se ve influido por los reflejos de los movimientos dentro de sus muros. Se forma un entorno caleidoscópico a medida que la luz y las imágenes rebotan en el interior.
The piece covered with a gold metallic mirrored surface is a chameleon in the desert as its reflections of the environment change throughout the day. Reflections of the desert will extend to the horizon.
STILL ALIVE as something like Kubrick's 2001 Space Odessy monolith, which appears in front of the primitive human beings and that although it is a dead organism, it is a reflection of the life that surrounds it, that attracts and creates more life, and with luck, it can reflect in each person what makes us human.
La pieza cubierta con una superficie espejada de metal dorado es un camaleón en el desierto, ya que sus reflejos del entorno cambian a lo largo del día. Los reflejos del desierto se extenderán hacia el horizonte.
STILL ALIVE es similar al monolito Space Odessy 2001 de Kubrick, que aparece frente a los seres humanos primitivos y que, aunque es un organismo muerto, es un reflejo de la vida que lo rodea, que atrae y crea más vida, y con suerte puede reflejar en cada persona lo que nos hace humanos.
With more than 20 feet long and composed of six large rings, it is a modular tunnel built, with 65 mirrored sheets, which will be mounted, on an even larger platform anchored to the desert. It is in this platform where the solar panels, circuits and all the electronics necessary for its operation, will be integrated.
One of the greatest challenges was creating a work that could stand up to the extremes of the desert. Sandstorms, winds up to 70 miles per hour and drastic changes of temperature. The result is a piece that is self-supporting that can withstand the extreme weather conditions as well as the crowds that will enjoy the piece.
Con más de 20 pies de largo y compuesto de seis anillos grandes, es un túnel modular construido, con 65 láminas espejadas, que se montará, en una plataforma aún más grande anclada al desierto. Es en esta plataforma donde se integrarán los paneles solares, circuitos y toda la electrónica necesaria para su funcionamiento.
Uno de los mayores desafíos fue crear una obra que pudiera hacer frente a los extremos del desierto. Tormentas de arena, vientos de hasta 70 millas por hora y cambios drásticos de temperatura. El resultado es una pieza autosoportante que puede existir en las condiciones climáticas extremas del desierto, y ser una experiencia para las multitudes que disfrutarán.
Whether being contemplated or traveled through, the art piece can generate different atmospheres. Perception is distorted in the senses of sight, hearing and touching that are activated with the various sounds and lights reflected from its own material. Curiosity is generated as burners explore and move in and out the portals of the structure.
